I have always loved the birthing journey! I became a licensed massage therapist in 1998, and went on to complete continuing education courses in prenatal and postpartum massage, massage labor support and infant massage instruction. I began by providing pregnant massage clients with labor support during their births, and I fell in love with the birth process. I completed birth doula training and certification through DONA International in 2009 and postpartum doula training through DONA International in 2011. I am a board member of Birthworkers of Central Ohio and CHOICE, as well as a member of the Columbus Birth Community. I have been supporting families as a birth doula for the past six years on a full-time basis.
My husband and I live in northern Delaware county on a small farm, and have two amazing kids. Our son Drew (11) plays soccer, golf and loves fishing. Our daughter Rory (7) is on the swim team and loves creating art projects and reading. We have a dog, two cats, a bunch of free-range hens and two goats. Nate and I are co-owners of an Organic Lawn Care company.
